This little girl loves swimming...

Kirra just loves her swim class. We now go every Monday evening, and she gets so excited when we get in the parking lot... She knows! Oma also usually comes along to enjoy the show... We have a great time watching Kirra do her thing...

Santa Barbara Zoo

We decided to get a yearly membership to the SB Zoo for 2009. Kirra is now old enough to appreciate some of the animals, and it's such a nice walk for us at the same time... Her favorite animals so far? The swans, the otters and the pinguins...

We were even able to trace her family tree (see below)!!!

Sunset walk on the breakwater, and dinner at Brophy's

Kirra is getting to enjoy Santa Barbara's beautiful sunsets... We had an evening walk on the breakwater, enjoying the sun going down over LedBetter beach. We then had dinner at Brophy's, where Kirra had a great time watching the chefs cook behind the counter!

Happy New Year!

Kirra had her first taste of what New Year's celebrations are all about... We went to a party at our hang-gliding friend Little John, and his wife Holly. Kirra had a nice time socialising with everyone, but didn't last much later than... 9pm! Happy New Year!

Big girl carseat

We got Kirra a new carseat, as she was getting a bit cramped in the other one. She's pretty stoked with it, especially now that she can look outside the car windows... It's a whole new world for her, and she's loving it...

9 months and 7 teeth...

These teeth keep on coming... At that rate, she'll have a mouth full of them by the time she's one!
