Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens

Since Kirra has developed a new love for flowers, we figured we would take her to the Botanic Gardens. She loved it, although by the end of it, she passed out asleep... She's been back since then with Daddy, but I fear we may be banned from it soon, for pulling too many petals off the flowers (shhhh, don't tell anyone!).

I just read a bit of Eckart Tolle's newest book, "The New Earth". It was featured on Oprah and indeed a book we all could gleen something from. It opens with how it must have been for the first flower to ever have come into being. Such a new paradigm after so many years of plants just being green to a completely 'new', trans formative, revolutionary way of being...not to mention flowers incredible beauty. The same is true for precious gems and birds, all of which have gone through incredible leaps of evolution to which we humans are indelibly drawn.
Flowers....Wow! It's our turn now. Like the imaginal cells in a caterpillar. When enough of them get together, they transform, metamorphize, completely change the direction of the caterpillar into a butterfly. We now are the 'imaginal cells' here on Earth.
Way to go parents!
